An online "E-Learning" training video that covers changing
student addresses in Zangle is now available under the E-Learning
section.

A new section containing Training Bulletins has been added (lower
right of page). This section will contain all Zangle Training
Bulletins sent out by Information Systems. These bulletins are short
training tips that cover a range of topics. If you have a suggestion
for a bulletin we'd love to hear from you! All suggestions should be
sent to
Jason Jones in Information Systems.

future enrollment records is now available under the E-Learning
section.

An online "E-Learning" training video that covers creating future
track records for returning 12th grade students is now available
under the E-Learning section. This short training video can be
watched anytime.

Master Schedule Building Training Clarification
Master
Schedule Builder training begins in February, with
classes occurring this week on 2/5/08, 2/6/08,
2/7/08 and 2/8/08. These trainings are intended for:
Attendees
have been sent Meeting Invitations via Outlook
(email). Additionally, everyone who is supposed to
attend the meeting this week were sent reminder
emails last week. If you did not receive the
original invitation and the reminder last week then
you are NOT scheduled to attend these trainings.
Below are rosters for each training class that you
can check to see if you are scheduled.

Zangle Training
Outline Now Available
In an effort to alleviate any possible confusion
that may exist, an outline of the Zangle
implementation training plan is now available to
download. The Training Outline document is a brief
snapshot of the overall training plan that has been
developed. The Zangle Implementation Team
understands that proper training is the key to the
successful roll-out of Zangle, and as such we wanted
to communicate to all users what to expect. The
outline details who will be conducting the training,
where, and an approximate timeframe. The document
can be viewed or downloaded from the Zangle
Documents box along the right side of this webpage.

Zangle Introductions
Coming to Your Staff Meeting
You may have heard the name “Zangle”, and you may
even know what it is. But do you have questions?
Don’t worry, you will soon have answers.
Representatives from the Information Systems team
will be attending school site staff meetings over
the next few weeks and will be providing each school
a brief introduction to our new Zangle - Student
Information System. This introduction will include
updates on the implementation timeline, training
timeline, and examples of how Zangle will affect
different user groups. Your questions will be
answered immediately following the presentation.
Contact your school Principal for the date we will
be at your site.

New Year Brings “Introduction to Zangle” Trainings
for District Office Staff
Along with the New Year, January brings the
beginning of the massive Zangle training program.
This training program is designed to support the
Zangle implementation and to provide the District
users with the knowledge to make Zangle a success.
The first group to receive the “Introduction to
Zangle” training will be District Office staff.
Beginning in mid-January, District Office staff will
be attending the 2.5 hour introduction class. This
class will give them the basic fundamentals
necessary to use and navigate through Zangle.
District Office staff should contact their
department Director or immediate supervisor for
dates and times for the training.

"Introduction to
Zangle" Trainings For School Users Will Be Site
Based
All District employees who will be using the new
Zangle Student Information System will be receiving
“Introduction to Zangle” training. In order to
maximize training resources, these trainings will be
provided at your sites. The training classes will
utilize campus computer labs and are currently
scheduled to begin in May. More information will
follow.

Using Zangle to Begin in March
Scheduling for next year using the new Zangle
Student Information System will begin in March.
Power-users from each site have been identified and
training classes have already been scheduled
beginning in February.
